I provide strategic advocacy and guidance for families navigating special education, developmental services, and public benefit systems. My work is designed to help parents understand their rights, organize their records, and advocate effectively for appropriate support—without unnecessary conflict or overwhelm.
Educational Advocacy & IEP Support
I support families through the special education process, including IEP and 504 planning, assessment review, goal development, related services, and behavior supports. I help parents prepare for and participate in IEP meetings with clarity and confidence, ensuring their child’s strengths, challenges, and educational needs are fully and accurately addressed. When disputes arise, I provide strategic guidance to help families resolve issues informally when possible and prepare thoughtfully when escalation is necessary.
Regional Center & Developmental Services
I assist families in navigating California’s Regional Center system, including eligibility determinations, IPP development, and service coordination. For families enrolled in the Self-Determination Program, I act as an Independent Facilitator and provide strategic support with person-centered planning, compliant spending plans, and coordination with FMS providers and vendors to ensure services align with the child’s needs.
Public Benefits & Appeals Support
I also support families facing denials, reductions, or delays in essential public benefits and services. This includes advocacy and appeal support related to IHSS eligibility and hours (including protective supervision), Regional Center service denials, and other disability-related public benefit determinations. My role is to help families understand the basis of a denial, strengthen the supporting record, and pursue appeals strategically—often through limited-scope representation or parent-guided advocacy.
Throughout all stages of advocacy, I work closely with families to develop clear documentation, effective communication strategies, and long-term planning approaches that support their child not just today, but as needs evolve over time.

Family law issues can feel overwhelming—especially when emotions are high and the decisions affect your children, your finances, and your sense of stability. I offer two paths for support: neutral family law mediation for parties who want a structured, private way to reach agreement, and limited-scope representation for individuals who need targeted legal guidance without full-service litigation.
Neutral Family Law Mediation
As a neutral mediator, I facilitate a balanced process designed to help parties communicate more effectively and reach durable agreements outside of court. Mediation can be used to address parenting plans, custody and timeshare schedules, decision-making frameworks, communication boundaries, and other family-related agreements.
The process is private and solution-focused, with the goal of reducing conflict while creating terms that are realistic and workable for both parties.
My role is not to take sides or give either party legal advice. Instead, I guide the conversation with structure, help clarify priorities, identify options, and document points of agreement. Many clients choose mediation because it is often more efficient, less adversarial, and better aligned with long-term co-parenting.
Limited-Scope Family Law Representation
I also provide limited-scope representation for clients who want strategic legal support without hiring an attorney for full representation. Limited-scope services can include consultations and case strategy, document drafting or review, preparation for mediation or hearings, and guidance on procedural steps and settlement terms.
This approach is ideal for clients who want to stay in control of their case while still receiving professional guidance at key decision points—especially when clarity, efficiency, and cost-conscious planning matter.
Because mediation and representation are different roles, I maintain clear boundaries depending on the service you choose. If I am serving as a mediator, I remain neutral. If I am providing limited-scope legal services, my role is to advise and assist you within the specific scope we agree upon.

Personal injury can arise in many settings—within the home, at school, in residential or shared spaces, or in circumstances where reasonable care, safety, or supervision was not upheld. The consequences of an injury are often layered, involving not only physical harm, but also emotional trauma, disruption to daily life, and long-term uncertainty. My personal injury practice is grounded in careful case assessment, discretion, and a trauma-informed approach to representation.
I represent individuals who have suffered serious harm and need clear, steady guidance through a process that can feel overwhelming and impersonal. From the earliest stages, I focus on understanding how the injury occurred, identifying responsible parties, and preserving critical evidence before it is lost or distorted. This includes coordinating medical records, documenting injuries and symptoms over time, and developing a factual record that accurately reflects the full impact of the harm—not just what is immediately visible.
Many injury cases involve complexities that require thoughtful handling, including delayed symptom onset, cognitive or neurological effects, emotional trauma, or power imbalances between the injured person and institutions or insurers. I approach these matters with care and precision, ensuring that the narrative of what occurred is developed accurately and supported by appropriate documentation and expert input when necessary.
Throughout the representation, I work closely with clients to explain each stage of the claim, outline available options, and help them make informed decisions about how to proceed. Whether a matter resolves through settlement or requires litigation, my goal is to pursue accountability and meaningful recovery in a way that is deliberate, client-centered, and respectful of the healing process—without unnecessary escalation or pressure.
